Well our trip is sadly over, we met many new friends and saw many great museums, but our most memorable attraction would have to be the Bialowieza Forest. It had an absolutely breath taking view and the European Bison were super cool!

During our trip, we hung out with our friends to watch various Roman Polanski movies for our pastime activities, such as The Pianist and Chinatown. Our friends say that it’s common to watch cinema movies in Poland. That makes sense, because Polish movies are the greatest!

While we were in Poland, we saw many cars that were producing a lot of exhaust, we searched this up and apparently western Europe is selling Poland banned cars that produce a lot of exhaust. Something surely has to be done about this!

Poland supports the Schengen Agreement. This means that we, as U.S citizens, can only stay in Poland for 90 days. So we’ll be leaving soon. That sucks so much though, there’s still so much we want to do in Poland!!! :C

Today we went to Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, a concentration camp built by the Nazis between 1940 and 1942, this was the largest camp the Nazis built, it exterminated 1.1 million people and sent many others to forced labor. It was a deep learning experience, and we learned more about the history of Poland.

Today, our friends took us to a known natural attraction in Poland, called the Bialowieza forest. The forest site lays on the border between Poland and Belarus. It contains conifers and broadleaved trees and covers a total area of 141,885 hectares. It is home to the largest population of the European bison, an iconic species of the property. We saw a lot of bison. We saw many interesting sites and species and it was an interesting experience overall.

Today we visited the Main Square of Krakow, one of the most important cultural sites for Poland. It holds many festivals and even the Christmas and Easter markets, though we didn’t get to see those. There were plenty of other things to see though, it also has the Renaissance Cloth Hall, a Gothic Basilica of the Virgin Mary. The square was huge and filled with people, overall it was fun.

Our friends are taking us to the Corpus Christi Church. The church was built in the 14th century and it takes up two blocks in Kazimierz. This makes it one of the city’s largest churches. It is also one of the most important churches to the Polish Catholic religion. Many people visit it every day. The interior of the church contains a lot of golden figures. It was rumored that a robber who had stolen relics from another church left it on the spot of the church due to regret. He abandoned the reliquary. When the priests found it, they saw a light coming out from the ground and discovering their sacred prize. They founded a church in that spot because of the miracle. We’re excited to see this place!!!!

In Poland, we travelled to many various cities, such as the capital of Poland and the seat of the Polish government. Warsaw, the capital of Poland, has many sites to see and many museums to travel through like the POLIN one we went to. This city is truly historic. Another city we visited was Krakow, the second largest city in Poland after Warsaw. It also has many historically important sites like Wawel Castle and Schindler’s Factory. The third largest city in Poland is Lodz, which we learned has a very large textile industry which is important to the Polish economy. It also has many sites like Poznanski Palace.

Wow, we never knew that in Poland, you kiss people on the check as a greeting. We always just smiled at them as they pass by, which apparently is something that Polish people don’t do. We were shocked to find this out!! We were greeting people the wrong way the entire time!!!!!! WHOOPS!!! NO WONDER WHY PEOPLE WERE LOOKING AT US SO WEIRDLY!!!!
